Sending well wishes...

Post by grumble »

to the individual who decided to liberate my Garmin GPS and my Maglites from my soft-top Jeep Wrangler as I slept last night.

I really hope they enjoy them...

Yes, it was totally my fault for leaving my gps attached to the windshield and not carrying it inside with me.

Very sorry to hear this.

I was very lucky. They simply unzipped a side window on the jeep and took what they wanted. They didn't break or damage anything (other than a little rain getting in the jeep because the lazy son of a guns didn't bother to REZIP the window).

Total loss was under $200 - cop actually came inside the house to get my statement (as I said, it was raining outside), and he did ask me (because my range bag was sitting open on a kitchen chair) if any weapons were stolen from the car. I told him, "no, during the night, they were all warm and snuggly near me" :smilelol5:

They don't know how lucky they are that you stayed asleep.

Thankfully on one was hurt, items can be replaced. I understand how you feel, my house was broken into about 5 years ago.
