For only the second time since receiving CHL in 1997, I handed it to someone. The first time was for ID at a bank. This time , it was to LEO after I was run down by a car in a school zone crosswalk. The crossing guard had walked back to his car to put on rain gear and didn't see the accident. Anyhow, as they say, "just shaken up with bruises and scratches." To the point, the LEO filled out his report from info on the CHL while the medic did his report from my DL. Efficient. Oh yeah, the driver had made a U-turn around the break in the esplanade and banged me with right front fender. That blow was nothing compared with the two bounces on the concrete. I thought I was 14 years old again playing tackle without equipment, only we did it on grass then. Oh yeah again, I was carrying, was hit in front by the fender, landing on left side. Revolver and cell phone were on right side. No damage to them.

Wow! Glad to hear that you walked away with only some scrapes and bruises! it could have been a lot worse. And glad to hear no damage was done to your gun.

Wow, that's close. Don't assume too early that you are "OK." Make sure you get checked out by at least your primary care doctor. Internal injuries from trauma are not always immediately obvious.
That said, you could be this guy: http://dctrawler.dailycaller.com/2010/0 ... e-my-knee/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://dailycaller.com/2010/02/04/struc ... er-writer/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Besides getting his knee/leg reconstructed, he's had pulmonary embolisms too.
Best wishes to you.
