That is a crazy story. I think ADT would be of limited help in a situation like this, but I guess every little bit helps. I strongly recommend steel security doors. I put them on my house. That way you can open your main door, and talk to people without opening the security door. Mine are cut so that people on the outside can't see through the door, but from the inside you can see out. A really good investment if you ask me. If someone is bound and determined to get into your house, they can get past anything, but the longer it takes them, the more time we have to get ready on the inside, and yes, I always carry at home so I don't need a heck of a lot of time.
