Re: Trick shooting
Real men do all that with a side by side coach gun.

Re: Trick shooting
I wonder how long that barrel is? It looks shorter than a field gun for hunting, but the extended mag holds 10 rounds. It'd make an awesome s.d. shotgun if the barrel's not to long. Looks to me maybe a 20" barrel.

Re: Trick shooting
Nice safety shooting directly over the head of the camera man in a couple of the head on shots ...

Reminds of the Baretta video that champions firearms had playing for years.

The guy with the Bennelli is a great shooter no doubt. I imagine the overhead shot was done with the camera on a tripod, hope so anyway.
Don't know if my above video paste worked but Herb Parsons broke 7 hand thrown clays with a Model 12 Winchester Pump. I don't know if his throwing arm or magazine capacity was a limiting factor, but it's pretty amazing as well. He wasn't wearing eye protection or muffs, but I don't think that was a priority in the 1950's.
Ad Toepperwein hit 72,491 2-1/4" hand thrown wooden cubes out of 72,500 at 25 yards during ten days' shooting. He ran out of blocks and used some of the previously broken ones to finish. He did this with a Winchester Mod 03 .22 rifle, during mostly bad weather (Cloudy, cold and overcast including 3 days of drizzeling rain) BTW -For the Texasphiles; He was a Texas boy born in Boerne.
The best thing about all three of these guys is they are promoting shooting. In the case of Parsons and Toepperwein they were news worthy events covered by the media of their times. Unfortunately, no such thing would happen these days with the liberal press and PC attitudes.
