Four in my family
Well my brother and I completed the CHL course together a couple years ago. We paid for my dad to do his class and state fees for father's day and he got his last year. My grandma just completed hers this past weekend. I just had to brag!

Congrats!!! Isn't it fun when the family is all card carrying members?
We always joke at get togethers that anybody trying to attempt a home invasion would end up having a very bad day since every single person in the house over 18 has a CHL and is almost always carrying. And although the 16 year old girl can't have her's yet, she can sure shoot the smile off a BG's face if she access to a handgun!

I'm jealous the Kalifornians and yankees are appalled

I'm jealous I been trying to get my family to do it. My girl finally sent in the packet. We took the class together but she didn't want to send it in. Dout she will carry but at least she has the option.

Sounds like you must have very polite family get-togethers! Congrats on all the CHL's!

Re: Four in my family
heck, i just thought it was cool when grandma bought the revolver, then she went through with the class! i gave my dad an old holster and my brother loaned him a gun until he buys one he likes. we are a family that takes care of each other! what was so funny when my brother and i took the class, the instructor had fits trying to fit our four fingers on the bottom of the cards(we are somewhat big) and told us we better make sure before we use a gun! i am 6'3" and my brother is 6'6", neither of us are slim
. it is great not only that we all have done the chl class and carry, but that is four more in numbers for the politicians to see before they make any stupid decisions! and we VOTE!

Re: Four in my family
Congradulations, I am also a member of 4. I gave both kids (son and daughter) 21st birthday presents consisting of the class and state fees. Earlier Christmas presents covered the weapons.
Then when our youngest (daughter) started the process my wife decided she was ready so I signed her up as well.
It does make you proud when you return from a family outing and the family starts disarming. Even with the son married and gone now, ours is not the house one would want to break into.
I have got to work a little on the daughter-in-law , we have her shooting, but she is not ready for the plastic yet. Then in May we get our first Grandbaby (according to the doctor and the pics ITS A BOY
). Yes I have already been shopping for the new arrival. Like my kids, he will not be forced, but he will be exposed.
