.219 is basically a necked down 30-30 with a .22 caliber bullet.... varmit round
This is a very nice Marlin Model 336SC in .219 Zipper cal. This is a very fast bullet. It has a 20" barrel with excellent bore. It has a 2/3 magazine that holds 5 rounds. There rifles were made between 1955-60 only 3230 were made this one was made in 1955. The wood is very nice as well. Folding leaf rear sight is aftermarket apparently to help with scope (low) mounting.

there are also other places on the web that sell ammo
might consider offers, but would more like to trade it for something interesting in a Marlin.
I am particularly looking for......
a Deluxe Texan
a Marauder
a ER
a ??????
The pictures really don't do the gun justice.... it is a nice patina... not rust. I have a lot of pictures that I can email you if you are interested.
