Anybody have a Motive Power Bleeder?

Post by gigag04 »

Looking for the Houston area, if not closer to Bryan/College Station. If you don't know what it is you don't have one :)

It's a WONDERFUL invention for bleeding clutches and brakes. The 350Z has pretty much the most difficult clutch to bleed ever...so I need one.

I know it's a longshot...I'll probably be ordering one tommorow.

For the curious - I'm also going to replace my stock clutch fluid resorvoir with a wilwood one so that it will have threads and lock air tight - a must for using the Motive Power Bleeder. Should be under $150 to get everything I need and get it on. Plus I'll have the bleeder for *when* I at a StopTech stage 2 big brake kit to my car :) :) :)
:woohoo

Honestly glad I can even post in a fun mood...been under the car from 5pm-12am...pumping the clutch...cussing....etc. Then I reread all the z forum posts about how easy it is with the above mentioned tool.

Yup, that's supposed to be THE tool to use when bleeding brakes. I actually read about it on the F-150 forum. Been meaning to pick one up as it's about time to bleed mine. Please post how well it works once you've formed an opinion!

Yep, I've got one. It spends most of its time loaned out to friends! Works great.
Want to borrow it? I'll just have to retrieve it from the last guy to borrow it.

Stealership is telling me it's a master cylinder, but I'm going to do a fluid flush of my own very soon, so I will be getting a hold of you. I'm up grading to Motul 600 in brakes and clutch.

I can't believe this worked. Couldn't get replies from the guys on the my350z.com forums.
