NRA/TSRA Member Stickers

Post by seniorshooteress »

I was wondering what members of the NRA & TSRA do with the stickers they send you with your membership packette? I had put mine on my windshield - Passenger side - then decided that might not be a good idea. There could be some out there that are gun haters. Then another thought entered my mind; Do these stickers kinda scream, someone in this car is a CHL? Thought about putting them on my outside storm door. Decided that would let anyone coming to my front door know, guns inside. I put them back in the envelope and decided not to display them anywhere. So my question is, where do other members put these stickers? :headscratch (I hadn't peeled the stickers off their backing just put them on with scotch tape so they could be removed easily if I wanted to, which I did want to.)

I throw away the stickers and put the magnets on the fridge. I don't put anything on my vehicles that may identify my thoughts, religious / political beliefs, place I live or anything about my family.

I didn't know I had that to look forward to. When I get mine they're going on my truck. I don't see anything wrong with people knowing the old man driving this truck might shoot before he gives up his truck or his wallet.

I figure that, if the back window of your truck says
"CROSSFIRE TRAINING"
"TEXAS CONCEALED HANDGUN LICENSE"
then any other TSRA/NRA/Glock, etc stickers I put on it are just gravy.

Same here. The only thing I do have is my license plate frame from my alma matter. As a side note, I can't believe the amount of people I see that have the cute little family stickers on their back windshield, complete with the names of each person.

I fly my stickers proud. I always keep a fresh one on the windshield of my bronco. The sun here cooks it off about every three years so the timing of my membership renewal works out perfect.

I carry a binder in my range bag that has printed copies of the instructions for all my guns, CHL laws, instructions for drills, clearing malfunctions, etc.
I slapped an NRA sticker on the front cover of the binder, and a Crimson Trace sticker on the back.
While I do not have my CHL yet (class is next weekend!), as a gun owner, I try not to broadcast too many clues about myself with stickers.
