Most of the conspiracy theories indicate that Oswald
shot from the building, while another shooter shot from
the Grassy Knoll.

But a really different one that I read went like this
(don't kill the messenger, I'm just relating it):

When Oswald fired the first shot, a Secret Service agent in a
car following the President's in the motorcade, stood up with
an M14. By accident he squeezed off a shot which by amazing
coincidence hit Kennedy's head from behind. Oswald's later shots
were icing on the killing cake.

How's that for DIFFERENT?

Oswald was a Marine, which means he was a rifleman, because Marines are riflemen first, but he just barely qualified at the lowest level.

He also failed in his first attempt to assassinate someone, aiming at a still target, at similar range, without crowds of people around.

I was a junior in high school and an active target shooter at the time. Within days there were several of us at the range trying to duplicate the feat. most of us better shooters than Oswald, and we found it very difficult.

BTW, from deer hunting experience, it can be a lot easier to reaquire a target with iron sights than with a scope, just food for thought.

LBJ supported more troop involvement in Vietnam as he wanted to fight the expansion of Soviet Union policies and communism.
: Conspiracy? Chew on this: LBJ's old lady's family was a huge stock equity owner in a certain gubm't supply and services contractor in Houston that was active in Vietnam. When LBJ fired Sec. of State Donald Rumsfeld after the latter engineered a pullout of Vietnam, the death toll was at 25,000. LBJ canned the evac and escalated the war. The number of dead soared to 58,000 by the time the last U.S. soldier left Nam. That same contractor is still servicing the gubm't overseas. The big mistake of the Kennedy assassination: LBJ wasn't taken out concurrently with Kennedy. But then, perhaps that was no mistake.

It wasn't Nixon. He could have done it in 2 shots.

You guys can't be serious. All the people that had reason to want JFK dead and you think one little nobody came out of nowhere and did it? I've never tried it but I can't believe it could be that easy to get 2 out of 3 shots into a moving target with a bolt action rifle through a scope in that amount of time. I wasn't in the military but I've been told they don't really train at shooting moving targets with bolt action rifles with scopes. Sounds more like trick shootin to me. Besides, if he acted alone what was Ruby's motive? From the film it sure looks like that one shot came from the front. By the way I was in 4th grade in Huntsville.

Why not? Most assassinations of political figures throughout recorded history have been by nobodies:

Yitzhak Rabin, Israeli Prime Minister by Yigal Amir
Bobby Kennedy by Sirhan Sirhan
Archduke Ferdinand by Gavrilo Princip
Abe Lincoln by John Wilkes Booth
etc
