It should concern you. The best thing we can do to protect our 2nd A. rights is to vote these people out of office. Everything is up for interpretation its why we have lawyers, every law can be intrepretated in a certain way, as can the Constitution. Every law of the land can be put to the test even in the most absurd cases. Right now we have a majority of people in Congress empowered by an off the charts radical Presidential Administration. Couple that power with a liberal Supreme Court and we could be in trouble. Healthcare is a perfect example, in Georgia their Liberal Attorney General will not file a lawsuit against the Federal Government because he does not "interpret" the Healthcare bill to be unconstitutional. When you have a majority of people gunning for the same goals and there is not a checks and balances anything can happen.
Remember the system we have is the first in the history of the world and it has never standed the test of time. It is human nature and old sin nature to control others and the human default setting is control. Europe is socialist, North Korea is off the charts Communist. Every road leads to control, and its why we have to fight it everyday.
The extreme is North Korea, everything else is just a shade of gray and every system has the potential to become a North Korea.
Look for gun control to come through the regulatory process, its the backdoor and the easiset way for them to obtain their goals.
However, healthcare should frighten everyone as to what will come down the pipe in the form of gun control. We have not seen the tip of the iceberg with what they will try to do now that we will all be on the government dole.

The "democracy" in Rome lasted about 200 years; we've lasted 235, so some would say we're overdue. As has been said elsewhere, democracy will last only as long as it takes for the people to learn that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury and for the politicians to learn to cater to that urge. (sounds like the current situation, doesn't it?)texas1234 wrote:Remember the system we have is the first in the history of the world and it has never standed the test of time. Has this bunch of Chicago gangsters running the country these days given any indication that they are concerned with the Constitution yet?
