JFK Shooting, possible?

Re: JFK Shooting, possible?
Any chance maybe he just ain't the one that did it?
Re: JFK Shooting, possible?
Even if you can believe everything else about Oswalds abilities to do it, I still just can't get past Jack Ruby's Chicago underworld connections and the Chicage underworld putting JFK in the white house in the first place. I've really been almost shocked that this many of you have bought into this.
Re: JFK Shooting, possible?
My Theory is JFKs head just did that by itself.

Re: JFK Shooting, possible?
Actually he was observed shooting in the USSR, and those who observed him felt he was a pretty lousy shooter.marksiwel wrote:Any chance Oswald maybe "practiced" in the years between the Marines and the Assassination?
There were no reported instances of him taking any target practice with a mail order rifle, with mail order surplus ammo, none. Of course, this being Texas he may have just driven out into the country and shot it, but wait, he didn't have a driver's license did he? He practiced with the rifle in his backyard, but that was just "snapping in" no actual shooting to test the accuracy of a gun he purchased through the mail. As a matter of fact, the only time he ever mentioned "target shooting" that anyone ever has recalled is when he told his wife that is where he was going, when he was actually stalking Gen. Walker, and then taking a similar shot to the ones he purportedly took at Kennedy, except at an unmoving target, he missed.
Yes, it's not impossible that he did it, maybe it was just pure luck, but I think it stretches probability.

Read Robert Caro's books about LBJ. You will look at this subject differently after you do.

We don't have time to source the book and read about LBJ.
Can you capsulize what the author had to say about LBJ?
**********************************************
By the way, Bobby Kennedy was investigating LBJ at the time of
the assassination and LBJ was worried about his political future.
LBJ is one of the possible players in the death of JFK.
The Warren Commission Report was a quick whitewash because
the murder happened 11/22/63 and LBJ wanted the report done
quickly before the November 1964 elections, when he wanted to
get elected on his own, as opposed to inheriting the Presidency
due to JFK's death.

Re: JFK Shooting, possible?
Hard to condense. LBJ was on a focused like a laser mission to be Pres from his childhood. He had a timetable because all the men in his family died pretty young from heart disease. He won a congressional seat in the 40's against Coke Stevenson by stealing votes from graves in Duvall County (San Diego) and Jim Wells County (Alice). Really John Connally did, that was his job. He worked his way to senate maj leader and finally went for the Dem nomination for pres. Old man Kennedy was a better vote stealer than LBJ and Connally. That's where the Chicago mob comes in. Joe Kennedy Jr. was suppossed to be pres but he got killed in WW2. Nobody accuses LBJ of the killing but it's pointed out that he knew that JFK would probably get 2 terms and then RFK would win nomination and pres election for 2 terms and LBJ would be too old and never get his chance. Whether he had a roll in it or not, the more you learn about him the more you see he had more of a motive than anyone.

Well thanks for the quick condensation. LBJ was a born politician.
He was cut out to use intimidation and power to get his way.
When he was a lad, he used to eavesdrop on his dad and the dad's
political cronies by crawling under/near the room where the adults
were meeting to talk about elections, who was to run, etc.
The Mafia allegedly fudged the vote in Cook County, IL (Chicago's county)
in November 1960 in order to have JFK win. Then when RFK,as Atty Genl, started
prosecuting the Mafia, the Mafia felt double crossed and wanted to
kill JFK, as one conspiracy theory goes.
Old Man Joe Kennedy was a bootlegger during Prohibition, and one of his booze
delivery trucks was caught in Michigan. The Detroit Mob ordered a hit on old man
Joe. Joe, fearing for his life, asked Sam "Mooney" Giancana of the Chicago Mafia,
to talk to Detroit. Detroit agreed to rescind the hit on Joe Kennedy, as long as he
never entered their sphere of influence again. This was another favor that the
Chicago Mafia had done for the Kennedy family.

Re: JFK Shooting, possible?
Never understood why RFK would bite the hand that put him in power and why JFK would allow him to do it. Surely RFK knew he might need some help from them someday too.
Re: JFK Shooting, possible?
LBJ: yet another example of a man from humble origins who enters public office as a poor man, and retires a multi-millionaire.
He's not one of the Texas sons of whom we should be proud.

Re: JFK Shooting, possible?
Agreed. And it was his money too. Not Lady Bird's as they tried to make us believe.

Re: JFK Shooting, possible?
Let them listen, they already knew what I thought of the Kennedys back in the 60s when they had the Secret Service run us off the public ocean outside the "Kennedy Compound" before JFK and RFK were assassinated and Teddy killed a girl not far from there. My opinion has only gotten worse with time.XtremeDuty.45 wrote:Shhh...you hear that...I think big brother is listening to us
