Speaking from a male perspective, the only thing worse than owning that gun would be being shot with it.

Make sure you put your ear protection on before you show it to her. She's gonna' squeal in delight when she sees that beautiful sight. I've offered to customize my wife's guns (There are pink grips available for her BT .380), be she would rather spend the money on another gun (like her .22 revolver), or ammo, or a trip to the range.

Interestingly, in the middle ages, red and pale red were masculine colors.

Sorry. Can't be done. Glocks are great pistols — there's no denyin' it — but they look like they fell out of the Ugly Tree and hit every branch on the way down. Making 'em pink is like putting lipstick on a pig... ...it doesn't look quite right, and it just annoys the pig....

...not that there's anything wrong with pigs. I ate some tonight.

Thanks for all the comments. I gave it to her tonight. She loved it. She immediately started taking pictures to send to her girl friend, who happens to be a fellow Glockoholic. Remember TAM, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

The only thing I should have done but didn't was to have the case it came in done. I Think it would have looked cool to make the Glock logo on the box pink.

They're as utilitarian as a basic AR but not half as ostentatiously ugly as the tarted-up ARs favored by the mall ninjas.
