7 dead, 18 wounded in one night in Chicago

Post by Kythas »

Obviously we all know this couldn't have happened because no guns are allowed in Chicago.

Chicago police are investigating shootings around the city that left seven people dead and 18 more wounded in a matter of hours.

Police spokesman Officer Hector Alfaro says the first shooting happened at about 6 p.m. Thursday and that the attacks continued into the early hours Friday in various neighborhoods.

Chicago Police Superintendent Jody Weis (wees) says most of the seven who died in the shootings had documented gang ties. Nobody was in custody in any of the slayings Friday evening.

At least two of the victims died in drive-by shootings, including an 18-year-old who was killed as he pushed his son down the street in a stroller. Two others were shot and wounded when someone in a pickup truck opened fire on a basketball game on the city's South Side.

So, Chicago, how's your policy of no guns, nowhere, at no time workin' out for ya?

We cannot arm stalwart, law-abiding citizens. No.

Absolutely no citizens in possession of firearms. Out of the question.

No, that would mean daily random shootings and blood flowing in the streets.

Much better to have violent gangs who fear no retribution, fear no resistance. Much better to have violent gangs who could care less about gun laws, and who open fire with illegally-obtained firearms.

Obama don't live there no mo, so why would he care. He has got his security 24/7 for himself and his family. I bet he lets his "team" carry guns even.
