Terrible.
Cougars are shy, reclusive, and downright mysterious...

IIRC there have been between 10 and 12 such attacks involving the violence in Mexico between numerous drug cartels. The "war" in northern Mexico may be spilling over the border. Stratford security has been monitoring the exclating number and violence of the conflict for more than 5 years, and over the last 9 months they have changed their cautionary note to one of extreem caution, for Americans crossing the border, and those who live in close proximity to the border.

Many automotive batteries are stocked dry. The sulfuric acid is sold separately in 6 qt and 5 gal containers so the dealer may activate the battery at time of sale.drjoker wrote:Look inside your car batteries. That's sulfuric acid. Your car battery is a Lead-Acid (sulfuric acid) battery.Mastodon wrote:How do they even acquire this stuff?

Don't know if I was the only one - but my first thoughts on hearing this story - related somehow to Mexican drug cartels. Just trying to think out other possible story lines...and they don't make any sense. This may be a warning or example - who knows. It certainly does create fear. Texas needs to be very aware of cartel influence and tactics (acid attacks just don't happen that often) moving northward.
