Art Acevedo Won't Be Dallas Police Chief

Just heard on CBS 11 in Dallas that Austin Police Chief, Art Acevedo, has withdrawn his name from the list of 6 candidates. He said he withdrew his name because the decision was to come soon and he had not been contacted. From some of the comments I've read on this forum, I'm not sad to see him stay in Austin.

Edit: According to CBS 11, Acevedo withdrew, First Assistant Chief David Brown (Dallas) has been named Chief.
