Im 26. I took my CHl class in january and turned 26 in february. It just so happened to make my CHL valid for 5 years instead of 4!

Oh I like this one...

I was in my 20's when I got my Texas CHL. And now I'm in my 40's. Ok, I was 29 when I got my CHL (see my sig) and I'm 43 now. I wish there was shall issue when I was 21. I would have done it. I lived in NC, NY, and RI at various times when I was 21. Unfortunately no shall issue (in any of those states) then. I purchased my first handgun when I was 22 in Virginia (.357 mag revolver). I had owned a Springfield 1911 .45 auto in NC when I was 20. Dad gave it to me as a gift.

The last time I counted days was when I did 3 years 25 days, 16 hours, and 37 minutes of sea duty, after that it was all gravy.

Haven't had my CHL for quite a year yet. Grew up in the "town" of Telephone, TX. where I was always armed and everybody knew it and would have thought it weird if I wasn't. Never concealed but you know..Gun rack in the back glass...Handgun in the glove box....etc.
After moving to the big city (Carrollton) figured I'd go ahead and get the plastic.
