New Rifle - Troy M7 CQB 16" / Spike's Lower

Check her out! Just got it put together today and went to the range.

Very soft shooting, I managed to get 2" groups with some black hills my first time out. Only have iron sights currently, looking to get a red dot or acog soon (once I pay this sucker off! lol)

-mil-spec trigger (It's pretty crisp too)

Looking to add a BCM gunfighter charging handle and a magpul MAD lever.

What do yall think of it so far?

That is an awesome rifle my friend. What do you think of the diamondhead sights? And are you going to try some heavier rounds for better groups?

-Bull barrel (I think that's what it's called - It doesn't have 203 cutouts, similar to noveske)

That would actually be the HBAR (heavy barrel). A bull barrel will be on the order of 7/8" outside diameter at the muzzle on a 16" barrel. They are noticeably bigger around than even the HBAR barrels. Here are some comparison photos of relative barrel diameters.

This is the M-4 barrel muzzle (with the M203 cuts, and the flash hider removed, and yes, I know it's dirty...):

Not to hijack the thread, but is there a trick to gettting off/putting on the flash supressor? I have the Tapco spanner wrench that appears to have a slot for this purpose, but a regular wrench looks like it would do a better job as far as grip. The rifle is a 16" S&W M&P15 so I have no reason to think it is permanently attached, but it sure is on there good!

I still need to get an optic for this and get out to the range some more. Unfortunately, money is a little tight, now that I bought this

Thanks! After using it, I am becoming more accustomed to the sights. I haven't had enough time on them yet to judge though, but I hope they work out.

Oh, and I have had good luck with the Hornady TAP 75gr rounds, as well as some black hills 55gr. Haven't shot it enough yet to determine what it likes best though. Hopefully, I will have more time and money to do that in the near future.
