So, what do you plan on carrying? Have you got any leather yet?

I will probably start with my 1911 9mm, but Christmas is very near and I am really looking at something different a possibe Ruger or Glock.

I need to come back up to DFW Gun and try a few out. , no leather yet, wanted to go to gun show and look for IWB holsters but had to work. Will be looking for soon.

Yep, It can be a VERY long wait. I checked my application status at least two times a day. Take a vacation, or do something to not think about it, cause if you don't have your Pin number yet, you have at least another 30 Puls days.

Good luck,

There's still hope. My status went from processing to issued and in-hand in 20 days flat.

That includes weekend days.

I think the PIN is issued when DPS enters it in the system and your status is assigned as "processing application" if you did not start it online, but I wouldn't put money on that.
