Here is an urgent note from the Vice-President of Miniature Schnauzer Rescue of Houston. They really need help this summer folks. Please consider being a foster home or donating to help pay for boarding.

Dear Schnauzer Friends

MSRH is down to the wire and in desperate need of loving foster homes/families NOW

We have several families going on vacation and we will be forced to board the minis if we cannot find additional foster homes for the next 3 months

As you know we depend solely on our volunteers to help care for the minis until they are adopted

Please think about fostering … for 2 months, 2 weeks or until they are adopted … now is the time to step up and say “I want to help”

If you cannot foster please consider “sponsoring” a Schnauzer and donate to his or her kenneling bill

It breaks our hearts, but once again we have been forced to stop all intakes and that includes from “kill shelters”

We currently have 125 minis in rescue and we have run out of foster moms and dads

Please open your hearts and air conditioned homes to one of the special Schnauzer boys and girls we have available … they will forever be grateful and so will MSRH

All of the minis have been fully vetted and are more than ready to go into a foster or forever home

The most important ingredient in becoming a foster parent is giving lots of love to these precious Schnauzer babies until their forever families take them home
