Chicago, today -- A man was walking down the street in a neighborhood where events of this kind are not surprising when he was hit in the mouth by a bullet. One tooth was knocked out, and he spit out the bullet.

Reading between the lines, it was apparently a stray shot rather than a direct assault.

It's nearly as hard to get a gun in Chicago as it was to get a drink during Prohibition. Everyone knows it. It has always been that way.

I doubt the mayor could pass an objective psych workup. He is out of touch with reality.
