I carry a Sig P226 and I'm an average guy. 5'10, 210lbs. A bit bulky, but never uncomfortable. I often forget I have it at times. I have a Galco Royal Guard holster (found here: http://www.usgalco.com/HolsterPT3.asp?P ... atalogID=7" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;). Mine's a .357 (FML on ammo) but looking to get a .40 conversion soon.

Here's a pic.

:tiphat: TAM !

Concealing isn't that big of a deal, meaning it's not that hard. But you do have to be willing to make some fashion concessions to make it work.

"rlol" :smilelol5: "rlol"

I also hate wearing tha' HAWAIIAN SHIRTS .. but, if that works, hiding my Big Daddy XD .45, then
bring on the pineapple and tha' Hula girls !!!

Oh, as far as 'fashion' concerns, I have none. I usually wear my normal button up shirt (long sleeved, oxford, slim-fit, tailored) shirts or standard Polo shirts and they all work well. Along with my normal Levi's jeans (527 Bootcut) You can't even see the bloody thing unless you really 'look' for it. Which I do now.. and started to do. I try to see if anyone is carrying. Haven't found one yet. I'm looking for y'all ;)

When I went to purchase my holster, the guy started to think I was 'crazy' and didn't know what the heck I was doing. Kind of made me mad a bit, considering I was going to lay down some money (not cheap, btw) on this holster. I'm considering a Kimber Ultra Carry .45 as soon as I get some funds, but this pistol works fine and I shoot it very well. Never jammed since I had it.

Cheers.

TAM is short for "The Annoyed Man" who is one of our members here.
He's the guy with the big cowboy hat.

Yesterday I carried a full size under a T-shirt. The right belt/holster combo make a world of difference. Here's the basic size of the pistol I carried....... .45acp in a CrossBreed Supertuck with a Galco 1 1/4" belt. Works like a charm.
