Timeline:
Aug 8 - Sent in completed package

Sept 29 - Received notice that i needed to send in proof of "Not Guilty" verdict :) (i should have known i was going to have to send this)

Oct 13 - Received License :)

I consider this to be really timely considering i had to send in some additional paperwork.

I now look forward to learning more from all of you great people here on this forum.

(edit: changed first date to Aug)

And that is whats gettin you hung up. Each person's case is different and we will all have a different experience with DPS in getting our licenses. With that said.....

Don't plan on having your license before 60 days - if you get it sooner its a pleasant suprise, many folks have waited longer. However, in your case if you don't hear from them by the end of this week I could give them a call. They seem to be quite backed up down there but still willing to help.

Whoa - no offense intended at all!

By "hung up" I meant anxious, if my perception was inaccurate I apologize.

Whoops! Sorry guys, i made a mistake and posted Sept 8 instead of Aug 8.

It was average timing of 2 months but still pretty fast considering i had to send in some paperwork.

i surely thought i was going to be delayed another 2 months becuase of that.
