Oh, dear. I've done it again! :smilelol5: This is my go-to source for inexpensive tools like tweezers and dental picks/probes. Can't beat the price - and if you bend/break one you are only out $0.50 or so.

Walmart and Hobby Lobby sell small bags in the craft section. The last time I checked, the walmart prices are....

2x3" = 97¢
3x4" = $1.50
4x6" = $1.97

As Hoi Polloi pointed out, you're not likely to get much variation in the taste of single serving prepackaged salt. You'll get more difference tasting by global region and/or method of processing.

Very true, I'm thinking I will just keep a collection of regional salts from around the world. Geocaching lokos pretty cool, I may get some friends together and try it out.

How's the salt-tasting going, Dude?

Your geocaching name can be Salt Lick. :lol:

Lol I decided to collect cool rocks and cactus. Lol. I am looking more in To geocaching but didn't have time to get started. I had to climb mountains and worry about bears just to get a signal. We set up old propane tanks across the mountains and shot at them. God only knows how far they were away but we had to take a 4 wheeler ride that was about 5 minutes long to get to the last one lol. My cousin could hit every time. I could see a tiny speck if white lol

I'm finally back. In the Texas heat.

I have a post I'm working on, we ate at the silver dollar and it was exquisite. Y'all have to stop.

What about baseball card holder pages....you could put the info about the salt on an index card that is cut to size and put it in the center slot with salt packs filling up the other 8 slots.
They're cheap and seem like a good way to organize em in my opinion if used with a regular old 3 ring binder.

that could work, I'm not going to be collecting packets though, with so few distributors it won't make much of a difference unless I go across the country. I am thinking about buying cans of different types of salts just to try.
