Facebook users, Chase Giving and The Lindsay Foundation

Post by Originalist »

All of my forum friends, I come to you today with a request from my cousin-in-law. She lost her daughter years ago and established this foundation in her name, this is Lindsay's legacy... This foundation (which is local to the Houston area but provides items for children across the USA when insurance companies say no.. (i.e. a vehicle wheelchair ramp for a child, which most insurances consider a luxury). They also provide catheters, feeding tubes, etc so families don't have to partake in the disgusting practice of washing and reusing. It is extremely simple and in only 6 easy steps you can have an impact.... its free, takes about 5 minutes of your time and could impact many children by giving this foundation the votes it needs to receive a gift from 20K - 250K dollars......

1. Log into your facebook
2. open a second browser
3. Paste this link:
http://apps.facebook.com/chasecommunity ... -post-self" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
4. Click "Like" Chase giving
5. Click vote (for The Lindsay Foundation)
6. Click on the "Share" (which where the vote button used to be

The beautiful thing is you can vote for up to 20 charities then find your favorite one and give it a special vote (only way to provide more than 1 vote by a single person to a singal charity is with the gift vote).

THis is a safe cuase, must be allowed and you will not recieve another thing about it, unless of course your friends are posting about it......

Thanks in advance,
Bryan :tiphat:

Did it, sitting at 953 votes currently. Good luck. :thumbs2:

Wanted to say thank you to anyone who voted for The Lindsay Foundation, they placed 193rd and will receive a $20K donation from Chase. They are the only Houston based charity to place in the top 200. Again, thank you!
