Potential Seminar Locations
I need to get some input regarding potential locations for seminars. Please vote in the attached poll and indicate what city or cities you would like to see host seminars including Texas Self-Defense & Deadly Force Laws (3 hrs), Awareness (1 hr), Ladies Issues (1), and Ladies Self-Defense Informational Seminar (2 hrs). The seminars can be offered individually, or in combination to meet the needs of your audience. Additional seminars, classes and clinics are being developed.
You can vote for two cities.
Thanks,
Chas.

You've got Amarillo but not Lubbock. I think it would draw more interest in Lubbock. I could be wrong though.
I'd go to one in Lubbock, no questions. If it was in Armadillo, it would fall into the "maybe I can make it" catagory.

How about the Golden Triangle (Beaumont/Port Arthur)? There are a lot of CHLs in Jefferson and Orange county.

I would love to see a seminar about carry issues for the Ladies in Dallas. I bet it would fill up quick. My daughter has asked me questions concerning carry methods and self defense situations that I have trouble answering due to being a male species.

Voted Dallas but I think your draw would be better if it's in the Mid-Cities area between Dallas and much more gun friendly Cowtown. Somewhere just to the south or west of D/FW. Now that I've got a job I can soon afford to enjoy myself again.

Re: Potential Seminar Locations
I voted Austin. I *might* be able to make a San Antonio seminar on a weekend day, depending on whether it conflicts with other plans. The 3 hours less of driving time make Austin much more doable for me.

Would love to attend the carry laws and awareness seminars! My first choice would be Houston, followed by San Antonio.

Re: Potential Seminar Locations
I chose Lubbock, because if I'm able to make any of them, it's closest. That's still a three hour drive.

Re: Potential Seminar Locations
I'm 30 minutes from Lubbock. Thanks for adding it to the list of choices.
Keep in mind that while Lubbock is not nearly as large as some of the other cities listed, there's nothing else out here. People come from a hundred miles around just to do their shopping, go to the movies, sporting events, etc. Same is true, to a slightly lesser extent, of Amarillo and Midland/Odessa.

Re: Potential Seminar Locations
I voted Dallas but in my mind that means the DFW area. Like 5thGen mentioned, the Mid-Cities area would be good for folks in both Dallas and Forth Worth (as DFW is a HUGE metro area). Grapevine would be a good choice as we have no shortage of hotels along with a municipal convention center and, of course, the Gaylord Hotel and Convention Center. All located just minutes (seriously) from DFW Airport, for those who wanted to fly in (I know, I know, some would fly into Dallas Love).
Re: Potential Seminar Locations
We have had Charles's seminar in the Dallas area before. Depending on the number of people, the location would potentially work again. I think the venue can seat 150 or so easily. it is also close to the airport/mid-cites, and I KNOW the person in charge is CHL friendly so you can carry.
