It could be longer than that. I'm on day 8 of Manufacturing Pending.

My guess is (and it is only a guess) is that they batch a bunch of people together and make the actual licenses all at one time. If you were one of the first people in that batch, you wait the longest. If your BGC completes right before that batch goes into production, you wait a much shorter time.

Here's hoping that the have a manufacturing batch by the end of this week and that the bunch of us with manufacturing pending are in it.

I checked the website on Tuesday afternoon, and the BGC was still "under review." That part seemed to take forever, although I think it was really closer to two weeks.

Yesterday afternoon, I checked and the BGC was finally complete, and "manufacturing pending" was the only thing left.

Thanks! It was about 8 days for mine to get here once it went manufacturing pending. You should have yours in no time.

It shows manufacture pending, but I got mine in the mail today. :woohoo

Just checked DPS and it says license has been mailed. So it looks like sometimes they update this part and sometimes they don't.
06/19/10 - Class Taken
06/21/10 - Packet Mailed
06/23/10 - Packet Received
07/08/10 - Updates Available
07/13/10 - All complete but fingerprints and BGC
07/21/10 - Fingerprints Complete
08/03/10 - BGC Complete
08/06/10 - Concealed Handgun License : Mailed
08/09/10 - !!!PLASTIC!!!
