One of the most trite clichés of bad movie and TV scripts is a mix-up between identical twins.

In Niagara Falls, New York, a man shot and killed another man in front of witnesses. The shooter was one of two identical twins. Oopsie. :headscratch

The wgrz story says that brother Raymond has an alibi. The Niagara Gazette article says both brothers had gunpowder residue on their hands and clothing immediately after the shooting. My guess is that Raymond's alibi is that he was off somewhere else, shooting someone else.

It doesn't sound like either of the brothers is a choirboy.

Far from it. They couldn't even get their momma to say so.

However, I don't give unlimited credence to forensic tests. Testing for "gunpowder residue" essentially means testing for nitrocellulose compounds. Those are pretty common in the form of fertilizer and pesticide, among other uses.
