I know we've been around and around on the AAL Center and their inability to legally post 30.06. I am also not talking of a sporting event but rather a concert. So as a practical matter, has anyone attended one there recently? Any screeners? I would like to know in advance rather then having to attempt an education on a lackey and thus ruining my daughters' evening.
Any advanced intel would be appreciated.

The last time I went to American for a concert was over a year ago - they had walk thru metal detectors, hand wands, and were searching bags. It was definately the 'last' time for me. Go to Bass Hall instead.
