UN to Review AZ Law for Human Rights Violations

Every 4 years, the members of the UN submit a "progress report" of human rights violations in their respective nation. Well, it was reported last week that the U.S. State Department (Hillary) submitted their report to the UN, listing the State Departments' opposition to the AZ Illegal Immigration law as an example of how the U.S. is actively handling human rights violations. Needless to say, Gov. Brewer of AZ is wound-up tight about that one.

But this action brings into question a larger issue...the AZ Illegal Immigration law has now been submitted to the UN for "review". Why do we need the UN to review anything? What happened to sovereignty? What happened to states rights? What happened to Obama's vow to uphold the Constitution and the laws of our land?

Oh...let's not forget that the AZ law is basically a mirror image of the federal law on illegal immigration. So, what exactly are we saying to the UN?

The UN "reviewing" a state law is like me "reviewing" my neighbor's lawn. If I don't like his landscaping, all I can do is say so. It's the same with the UN.

Perhaps the U.N. can invite The leaders of Arizona and the leaders of the U.S.A. to a neutral place to negotiate, like Barry invited the Israel leader and the leader from the PLO terrorist organization in Israel to negotiate in D.C.

Then the Feds could just dismiss the Federal Lawsuit from (the unbiased?) Federal Court and stop wasting the Taxpayer money on litigation...

As quite honestly recited by the OP, I have not read the State Department submission to the UN, nor have I read a thing about what the UN thinks about the State Department submission. Perhaps you would share with us your source for suggesting that the State Department considers marching by illegal aliens to have been the subject of that submission? I would appreciate it, so that I might make an intelligent personal appraisal of the submission on the basis of first-hand knowledge and not groundless speculation. Thanks.
