Alice Tripp spoke to our gun club

Post by MoJo »

Alice Tripp of TSRA spoke to the annual meeting of the Golden Triangle Gun Club last night. Her talk was very informative telling us about what the TSRA is trying to achieve in next year's legislative session. Parking Lot and Campus Carry are high on thier priorities. She told us there is only a two vote majority in the house at this time.

Alice asked us not to "throw out the baby with the bath water" this election year. If an incumbent is a good 2A friend re-elect them if they aren't throw them out. If we lose that small majority we will be back where we were in the late 90's putting out anti-gun "fires."

Watch for TSRA's list of endorsed candidates and vote pro-gun. :patriot: :thumbs2: :txflag:

I had a couple of phone conversations with her not too long ago. She's a nice lady.

I could tell you her home and cell phone numbers.... ....but then I'd have to kill you. :smilelol5:

+1 - finally got to meet her last week @ PSC when she was there supporting a couple of Houston-area candidates for Tx House seats.
I'll quit carrying a gun when they make murder and armed robbery illegal

I think you mean American Shooting Center. Alice wasn't at PSC.

Doh! You're right, ASC. I came to PSC last Saturday to observe the monthly IDPA match - looks like an awful lot of fun, am going to register for October, schedule permitting.
