Still waiting for my Application to be delivered

Well, I paid online October 18th and now it's October 30th and still no application form with Pin#. If it's not in the mail today, I will be calling tomorrow morning. At this rate it looks like no sooner than Febuary that I will have my CHL. That just seems so long from now. I'm usually a patient man, but I'm already getting impatient. I've already burned 600+ rounds and have been carrying at home all the time with family not even knowing.

What has been the time frame for others when getting there application in the mail when paying online?

Dawg:

When I took my CHL class on the 22nd, the general concesus there seemed to be that it was taking 2 to 2 1/2 weeks for the applications to be received. Some of the folks in the class had their app with them, others still hadn't received theirs. Others may have a better guideline for you.

Hope it shows up this week...

don't get your hopes high. They don't like you checking up on them till at least 60 days. It may not hurt, but it may not help. Mine took 98 days from the time they received my Application.

Just pray DPS doesnt send any missing information letters to you. Then you can tack on another 2 to 3 weeks.

Well, lol and behold. 8 working days to be exact! Came in the mail today!Will be mailing out everything tomorrow afternoon 1st calss certified mail with return tracking. Then another 60 days after they get it. Hope thats all it takes.

He's waiting on his new form from dps not the chl approval.

You should have it by now. Call 'em
