dates of jobs and places lived?

Post by cheezit »

So I signed up for the class.... thats next weekend. I was looking at the online forms, wondering how accurate the date for employment and places you lived needed to be?
No brushes with the law so dont have to worry about that.
thank you all.

I think it's to speed up the background check, based on the assumption someone is most likely to get arrested in a county where they live or work. I think I wrote the month and year on my paper application. Does the online application require a specific day? Some online job applications do and that drives me nuts.

Maybe an instructor will come and give an official answer.

After filling out a zillion applications and resumes during unemployment, I created a timeline of all the companies Ive worked for, with contact info, and all my prior addresses and saved it with my resumes. Made the process much easier for this application. Something to think about when gathering the info, maybe type it up and save it for future reference. I got tired of looking it up each time.

:iagree: Not only is it good for resumes and job applications, if you ever need to apply for a security clearance, it is essential information.
