Texas 4-H

Post by Middle Age Russ »

Is anyone aware of any 4-H rules regarding concealed carry at 4-H activities by a CHL holder?

We have and currently serve as volunteers and don't wish to step on any toes. Thought we would inquire here before going to Tx 4-H directly. As their volunteer form accepts background checks from CHL, I don't imagine they will have a huge problem, but before we go there, thought we would start here.

Thanks

From what I found out last year as long as it is not University 4H you are fine to carry. 4H is not a school activity. However, make sure you obey the law about school buildings and such.

I carried last year and never had any issue. Just keep it concealed and obey the law. Any corrections welcome.

Why ask so that you would risk being given notice? I have been a club manager for years.. don't ask, don't tell.
