Any members from El Paso?
Hello.... I am wondering if there are any other members here in this side of our Great State? Been wanting to meet fellow forum members here in El Paso. It would be nice to have a meet-up or a get-together like the Dallas-DFW folks.

All guns have at least two safeties. One's digital, one's cognitive. In other words - keep the digit off the trigger until ready to fire, and THINK. Some guns also have mechanical safeties on top of those. But if the first two don't work, the mechanical ones aren't guaranteed. - me

Nice to see a fellow el pasoan here. Anybody else from El Paso area?
@quidni, where do you usually shoot? Of course other than the Rod and Gun Club and the EPCC indoor range....
I am located near the El Paso International Airport area.

Any more the only time I visit the R&G is qual time with the Guard, otherwise it's too far away. The EPCC indoor range is on my way home from work.
Outside shooting, when I get the (rare) chance and the money for ammo at the same time, is usually out in the middle of nowhere between East Horizon and Montana. Otherwise, when the husband and I go up to 'Cruces to visit my Dad or our son, we might visit the free Butterfield Range out on the west mesa near the Corralitos Ranch.
But, prime target collecting season is coming up soon.... (mini-pumpkins make great reactive targets that you can let the wildlife clean up afterward!) and there's a local church, behind the east-side Tinseltown, that sells targ... er, pumpkins, every October as a fundraiser for their missions projects....
