A Vancouver Washington woman reported to police that she was attacked and had acid thrown in her face. She later admitted to police that she did it herself.

I've never heard of anybody throwing acid in their own face. OTOH, I have known several, not breathtakingly good lookin' like me, who could have benefited greatly from a paper bag with eye holes cut in it.
