I never realized that AndyC was from England until this day. Now every time I read his posts it will have a clever English accent in my head

No showing off of the legs, eh? Andy may be the only man I know who looks perfectly calm, cool, and collected in a pair of jeans and hiking boots on a humid 95º day. For my own part, I was feeling distinctly "untidy" in the underwear regions by the time we left. I can't remember what it's called... ...swamp something or other.... anyway, Andy is much too dignified to have a swamp in his britches. Kilt not needed for staying cool; only perhaps for effect.AndyC wrote:Wearing a pink t-shirt to last weekend's skeet-shoot was enough excitement for me, thank you
Let us hope that he remains that calm and collected when he takes the oath. After all, it can't be any more stressful than playing schoolteacher to a bunch of knuckleheads with shotguns, can it?

For the record, Andy is so cool he never sweats, he perspires. The Annoyed Man wrote:Andy may be the only man I know who looks perfectly calm, cool, and collected in a pair of jeans and hiking boots on a humid 95º day. I hope your wait goes smoother than a friend of mine from Finland.

My mother always told me, "Horses sweat, men perspire, women glow." I hear that if Chuck Norris ever sweated, he would sweat bullets, though.WildBill wrote:For the record, Andy is so cool he never sweats, he perspires.

Yes, and he would then roundhouse kick the primers of all the bullets, simultaneously, causing them to fire, and hit every bad guy in a 360 degree radius around him!Hoi Polloi wrote:I hear that if Chuck Norris ever sweated, he would sweat bullets, though.

I spent a good bit of time working on my family tree, inherited it from a great uncle who passed away in 2001 at age 90. The woodpile has gotten too big to manage......
