Tuesday October 5, 2010, is National Night Out in the southern states. (It's in August for the northern states.) This is an opportunity to meet your neighbors and basically show the low-lifes and thugs that they do not own the streets.
If you hustle you can organize a block party. If you can't get the permits for that, you can have a backyard party.
