Well, if Mexico would build a wall along the NORTH boarder maybe that would keep all the guns from getting into Mexico! ;-)

And if they built a wall to the north, there would be no reason for the cartels to be there. They would find an easier route. Crime on the border would decrease and everyone on both sides of the border would be safer.

Basic economics. We need to find a way to reduce demand for illegal drugs that is the only to decrease the power of suppliers

They will still traffic humans and any other black market goods. It’s not just the drugs. The only way to stop the crime is to make it impossible for any contraband, (be it human, drug, dirty bomb or what), from crossing the border.

If China could build a Great Wall and man it to keep out the hordes, I don't see why we can't. We manage to wage war around other parts of the world just fine. :banghead:

I wonder how much we spend on border enforcement in Iraq, Afghanistan, and in South Korea?
Based on those examples we could obviously do it here, but those in power here are trying to bring down the US, not protect it.
