Ok, so from what I've read it was only a handful of mayors requesting that the US cease deporting serious criminals, but it's still a little ridiculous. Read the article here:

You’ve got to be kidding me. The entire world must see the policies in the US as pure stupidity.

What I can understand from the Mexican Authority, is the only alternative for deportation is a firing squad. persona non grata, anywhere on earth!

The mayor of Juarez has said this before, some months back.

I'll make'em a deal: they don't let any violent criminals cross the border from Mexico to the US in the first place, we won't deport violent criminals back.

I honestly don't know what to say anymore. This whole world is just mad! :boxing We don't want their criminals, send them back and send the bill to Mexico for the tranportation costs!!
