We are going to be working on this situation A LOT Oct. 15-17 @ the PUC/ECQC class at the Impactzone. There's much to be learned about the dynamic interaction at 0-5ft. distance. What I've seen is that turning sideways limits your mobility greatly. We need to stay mobile to give us options to de-tangle if the contact closes the distance. Putting the gun further from the bg doesn't buy you enough time or room to draw.
