Question about the 12 month time limit.

Post by Austin83 »

I am taking my concealed handgun class this Monday, and I paid my state fee online and received my packet in 12/09. I understand that it says my packet must be submitted within 12 months of the transaction date which is 12/1/09. Does that mean that the class and paperwork must be completed, dated, and mailed by the transaction date, or does it all have to be approved and made official by the state within 12 months? I know it can take up to 60 days for my application to get approved and official, and I just wanted to make sure I won't have any problems with the 12 month time limit. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

It needs to be postmarked by the date. Take your class and get it all sent in you'll be OK.
