Big Thank You From UT Students for Concealed Carry

Post by Kory Zipperer »

Hello, I am Kory Zipperer, Vice President of the University of Texas at Austin chapter of Students for Concealed Carry. This past week, following the unfortunate shooting that took place on our campus, members of this forum gathered a sum of 140 dollars and donated it to our organization.

This money was desperately needed, and greatly appreciated. Our big event is holding an on campus CHL course, and this donation gave us just about everything we need to make sure that it happens again this year.

Thanks again for your support. Each day puts us one day closer to finally removing the honor system that is the "gun free zone" from our college campuses.

Good luck to you and your organization, Kory. It goes without saying that most, if not all, members of this forum believe in your goal.

Keep up the good work. Does your org have a website, and/or a means to accept donations directly?

Welcome Kory and thanks for your efforts at UT.

Kory's Dad has done a lot to support the Second Amendment and campus-carry and continues to do so. He doesn't just talk about it, he puts countless hours into the effort. I won't detail what or where, but he's a shinning example of what can be accomplished in a hostile environment.

Thank you for all your replies! It's great to know that our cause has support.

For those of you interested in donating to UT Students for Concealed Carry, we do have a paypal account for such transactions. Below is a link to that account:

Sorry, I had to close down the account because of some issues with paypal.

We don't have a website, per se, but you can find us on Facebook at:

Thanks again for your support! Every little thing helps, and will be put to good use!
