This coming week, Sunday, October 11th, at 12:00AM until Sunday, October 17th, at 12:00 AM, Texas A&M Students for Concealed Carry on Campus will have a large fundraiser and recruitment event.
The TAMU SCCC Chapter is at the heart of all SCCC chapters in this state, and it is the largest chapter in this nation with over 1250 members, 6 officers, and 8 assistant officers. Look at our pictures to see what we’re doing—we are the most active organization on this campus and the most active chapter in this state.
We need help not just with funding, but with recruiting as well.
Here’s how the fundraiser goes and how you can help:
1. Donors will pledge a coin amount to donate per new member during this coming week ( $0.05, $0.10, $0.15)
2. We will recruit as many people as possible this week via facebook
3. Those new members recruited after 12AM on the 11th and before 12AM on the 17th will be multiplied by the pledge of each contributor and the contributor will make a donation to our organization for that amount.
For example, if the member number on our group is 1250 on 10/11/10 at 12AM and ends as 1450 on 10/17/10 at 12AM and you pledged $0.05, then your total donation is $0.05x200= $10.
Please help our organization out and make a pledge—it doesn’t have to be for much; it really adds up and every little bit helps our cause.
