Legal or Illegal Carry? In offices CHL leases?

Post by TXlaw1 »

Would it be legal or illegal for a CHL to openly carry (intentionally not concealed) within offices (and only within those office, NOT to the bathroom or in common areas) that he personally leases in a building that has no 30.06 posting?

If it would be legal, would the answer change if someone outside the office could possibly look through a window into the office and see the CHL openly carrying with the spaces he leases?

Would the answer change if the lease was in the name of a corporation in which the CHL was the sole shareholder and officer and employee?

What about CHL employees of such a corporation who are authorized by the owner to carry openly within those offices?

What do you all think? Mr. Cotton, any thoughts?

If such a thread exists, please let me know and I apologize for the duplication.
Jesus said, "And the one who has no sword must sell his cloak and buy one." (Luke 22:36 NET) Also, Jesus said, "When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own homestead, his possessions are undisturbed"(Luke 11:21 NAS)

That would seem to be "premises under the person's control" for the person who rents the offices.

INAL, but I agree with cbr as well.

Premisis under your control, as in workplace. Isn't this how gun shop employees are able to open carry?
