Gary, IN Police Officer Shoots Self, Partner "On Accident"

Reserve Police Officer puts a magazine in his brand-new Glock 22, puts his "hand over the barrel" and "the weapon discharged". The round went through his left hand and struck his partner in the right side.

The comments are spot on. Maybe this officer needs some remedial work in firearms handling?

That would be: "By accident" not "On accident"

Sorry, but "On accident" is a pet peeve...grumble, grumble...
