There's no limit to human cruelty

Post by Charles L. Cotton »

I'm way too old to be shocked by anything these days, especially as an attorney and former COP. But this story has my blood boiling. As a Christian, I'm not supposed to feel this way, but I hope this woman and her husband don't know my Lord and that there's an especially hot corner of Hades waiting.

Chas.

Fine examples of sub-human behavior: To wit, using a little girls misfortune to wage a war with the neighbors.

I'm stunned.

Maybe it is something in the water of the Great Lakes. This story was linked on the page Charles posted:
http://www.foxnews.com/us/2010/10/08/oh ... dead-hand/

Suzana Vidovic found her sister's body hanging over the front lawn. The family watched, she said, as the girls who had tormented Sladjana for months walked up to the casket — and laughed.

"They were laughing at the way she looked," Suzana says, crying. "Even though she died."

This is a terrible situation and my heart goes out to the little girl. I cannot imagine what she must be feeling while loosing her mother and dying herself to have that kind of activity directed towards her.

I also cannot imagine what would compel neighbors to act this way, especially towards a little girl. There has been another thread running about bullying with some of the posts in it wondering why people allow themselves to be bullied. Here is an excellent example of why. There is nothing that this poor little girl can do except simply endure the wicked, abusive treatment. While I applaud all who have given their support to the little girl, the community needs to reach out towards the harassers in a peaceful way and let them know that their behavior is unacceptable. Bullies like this get away with it because others are not willing to challenge what they do.

It's one thing to have an immature beef with another adult, but to subject a child (esp. one with such a horrible disease) to that kind of treatment....I have no words for people like this.

What's this world coming to when adults are bullying a dieing little girl. These people need a special treatment.

Not often enough.

This is just WRONG!
I actually feel physically ill after reading that article. What is wrong with these people? How can they send such horrible attacks at a dying 7yr. old girl? :mad5 :banghead:
These are the types of people that we need to "weed" out and take care of. We need to quit trying to solve everyone else's problems in the world, and look inward at the moral decline of America, and the overall state of our nation. If you think this is bad now, wait another 10 years. After all, 10 years ago cyber-bullying didn't exist.
I can see arguing with a neighbor over an issue. Heck, I can even see giving them dirty looks while backing out of the driveway  . Nothing should go beyond that... EVER... This little girl did nothing to provoke the situation in any way, so why is she the victim of their attacks? Is it just because she can't fight back herself? If that's the case, I'm sure there are plenty of people out there that would "fight" in her defense against these sick individuals. These people need to be taught a lesson (legally of course) and made an example of. This is a new age with different means of attacking people, and we must start laying the law down on these folks, to show that this kind of behavior will not be tolerated.
God bless that child and her family for having to endure such cruelty... My prayers go out to them.
