Couldn't have been me. I was with you. :smilelol5:
And about 100 other of your closest forum friends

Great to (re)meet all three of you (and spouse units). Too bad we spent so much time shooting (badly, in my case), or we could have met more of the members.... ;-)

If you know it's them, you should go over and say hi, especially if you know their IRL name.

If you're just guessing you can ask, "Are you happy to see me?" If they're a forum member they'll reply with the other half of the pass phrase if they want to admit it.
When in doubt

If some guy walked up to me and asked if I was happy to see him, I'd think he was a creep.

Especially if he followed with, "or is that a gun in your pocket?"... :biggrinjester:

Too bad it wasn't TAM...that would have been cool!

Well gents, if you ever eat at Chili's and suspect your waitress is packing...look at her earrings. If they look like these guns...

...then that waitress is me, and you're more than welcome to say "Hello, randomoutburst!" :)

I'm absolutely serious, by the way. I'm waiting for my manager to tell me I'm not allowed to wear them at work, but so far he hasn't said a word!

In the past month, I decided to start using my "NRA Instructor" coffee cup at work, expecting to be told it was inappropriate (very gun-unfriendly place, by law).

Instead, it's piqued the curiosity of co-workers whom I never would have suspected as interested, starting some interesting conversations!

I'm afraid it wasn't the career-limiting stunt for which I was hoping....

And, no one has yet asked me about Forum membership.... :headscratch

Random! I Love your earrings! Know I couldn't get away with them in my line of work, but how fun are those... can you share where you got them?

I am horrid at names, but remember faces pretty well. So if I see anyone I met yesterday and am staring at you, forgive me - I am indexing my files trying to match you up! I do like the idea of a "code phrase", but am not sure I can bring myself to the banana question :smilelol5:

How about asking the suspected forum member if they've ever heard of Charles Cotton?

I used to have a jewelry business. Started it in middle school and got better quality supplies until I handed it over to my mom when I went to college. I'm not bragging or anything, but I had some good stuff. Hehe.

Anyway, she has continued the business and, while shopping for new supplies, she happened across those charms. It's simple to turn them into earrings - just slide them onto a set of earring hooks, something you could easily find at Hobby Lobby. I think that's what I like best about them - they're simple and make a statement. ;-)

If I ever get up to Random's Chili's I'm just going to ask my wait person if any of the staff is prone to random outbursts.
I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.

You should ask them if one is prone to complaining about everything, all the time. It's not random at all, but continual and unceasing. ;-)

At most work places, that would describe 90% of the employees.

Hahah fair enough, but everyone I work with comments on how much I complain. And I guess I do, but oftentimes I'm just joking and they fail to realize it.

in any case, the earrings are a sure way to tell it's me. :)

What would you do if you think you see a non-forum member in public? Why would it be any different? I am never going to mention anything in public about concealed carry to a stranger.
