Officials said at least one priest and nine policemen were among the dead. Many of the wounded were women.

Why are we spending American lives and dollars trying to civilize these people? This may be somewhat a radical idea but let's repair our Interstate system instead of trying win the hearts and minds of our enemies.

Oldgringo, if you're asking why missionaries are risking their lives to go over there, it's called The Great Commission.

If your asking why our military is over there, then my only question is whether or not they need to be to secure our borders.
