Borrow a boresighter in Houston?

Post by RHenriksen »

Hi, I bought my first Real Rifle last week - am hoping to sight it in this weekend. This whole process is new to me, and I'd like to squeeze the budget a little by avoiding buying yet another gizmo after the rifle, scope, mount, spotting scope, .308 ammo, etc...

Anyone in/around Houston who'd be willing to loan a boresighter that'd work with a .308? I'll be sighting in a lightly used RRA LAR-8.

thanks in advance,

RNH

Ahhhhh...I have one myself and like it a lot. What type of optic are you going with? And does yours have a quad rail of regular hand guards? nice rifle, but it never happened without pics.

It came with a quad rail, and the little rubber hand guards. I've put a low end Primary Arms (Chinese) 4-16x44 scope on it for now while I learn, and a lightweight harris 9-13" bipod.

Edit: not sure why the image is being truncated, but you can right click the image, and select 'show image' to see the whole thing.
