I might be interested in the puppy. I would have to check with my Landlord about having one but I don't really for see it being a problem. I had a chocolate lab but she was stolen. I think she would be a welcome blessing in my life and my girlfriend would love her. She is a sucker for labs a well.

That is wonderful news, but I hope you realize how far you would have to drive. We are located northeast of Dallas, off of I-30. You can Google Rockwall, TX and that is close.

I can help with transport if someone outside of your area is interested in taking her.

I'm arguing with Mommachatter. Unfortunately, she is winning. :cryin

However, she did say that if the tyke is still there Friday when I get another day off, she would "talk" about it.

Anything that gets her into a good home would be great! So far, she is staying down at the gate. I'm keeping her fed, but only time will tell if she stays.

I hate to see anything bad happen to her. She is dying for attention that I don't dare give her. It's tough though. You can easily tell she is a sweetheart.

for transportation if SigOperator02 takes her, try http://www.rollingrescue.info/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - they've been around a long time and are reputable.

She is a beautiful dog. I hope she finds a home soon.

I hope someone is able to adopt her. If it comes down to her getting put down or sent to a shelter, let me know. Hopefully sig or someone is able to adopt this sweet pup. If not, she'll have a place at my house. :tiphat:

What's the update on the pup? I am a dog lover and I am hoping she gets transferred to her new home without problems. I live on the south side of Fort Worth. If we could work out a relay of some kind, people could hand her off until she made her way to college station? How about it members?

Thanks everyone. I'll be off at work today, but if anyone needs to contact me about the puppy, I changed my board settings to allow email. As soon as I notice your email on my blackberry, I will respond.

She was still doing OK last night. I won't know how she's doing this morning until I head off to work.

My uncle has recently expressed interest in getting a new dog. He had a black lab who died a couple years ago and has decided he's ready for a new dog - and wants a black lab.

I've emailed him asking if he'd be interested in adopting this one. I'll let you know when I get a reply from him.

This looks like the most promising possibility yet. I hope he answers soon!
